I enjoyed my stay with a charming view of the ocean and the beautiful decor, but the lack of an elevator was definitely a challenge. I'd stay here again despite that!

the hotel is super close to eagle park, perfect for a relaxing stroll, and just a short walk away from the waterfront where you can explore shops and eateries, making it a fantastic base for weekend adventures.

My kids wished for better ventilation in the room.

Got the same reasonably priced room with view booked online, greatly enjoyed that. It had central location close to Port of Ketchikan.

Request a room away from the main street to avoid nighttime noise from traffic and neighboring guests.

This hotel captures the charm of Ketchikan with its historic vibe. The location near the docks made it easy for me to board my cruise, a huge plus. I loved how spacious my room felt. The cleanliness was excellent, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee on the landing between floors. The memory foam pillow top beds provided great comfort at night, leading to some of the best sleeps I've had on my trip. There's a lovely bakery a couple of blocks away for breakfast, a great recommendation . I faced a couple of issues. The heating system was quite noisy at times, and I couldn't control it much. I also noticed a lack of daily housekeeping. I had to ask for clean towels. Plus, not having a breakfast option right in the hotel can be inconvenient. If you're sensitive to noise, it's worth requesting a room away from the street because of potential disturbances from nearby nightlife.
